Is there an ideal humidity in a home?

The humidity contained in the ambient air of a house or apartment is absolutely essential for our comfort on the one hand and on the other hand for health. As is so often the case, this humidity is between so-called reasonable values. We have all been confronted one day with situations where the humidity (degree of humidity) was either too low (dry air) or too high (wet air). It is agreed that a humidity of between 40 and 60% is correct.
The measurement of humidity is done using a hygrometer. Most analog hygrometers have a so-called normal zone corresponding to this range.
