The drying of a building depends on:

• The thickness of the walls (a thick blanket will take longer to dry than a cloth).
• The ventilation of the premises (a room with too high a level of humidity will slow down the evaporation of materials).
• The number of evaporative faces of the wall (a buried wall has only one face of evaporation).

In addition, when the walls are covered with a RPE (watertight plastic coating), the water contained in it cannot evaporate. It is mandatory to remove the coating that will allow the water to evaporate naturally.
